These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Storrik.io, our widgets, APIs, and related services (the “Services”). Storrik is operated in Australia by a sole trader under the business name “STORRIK”. No physical office. By creating an account or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms.
“Storrik”, “we”, “us” means the sole trader operating Storrik.io in Australia.
“You” means the person or entity using the Services.
“Services” means Storrik.io, dashboards, APIs, SDKs, checkout, payment features, and materials we provide.
“Linked Gateways” means payments you process directly via your own Stripe or PayPal account
“Managed Payments” means payments where Storrik processes the charge and settles funds to you via Storrik payouts.
“Content” means any text, images, audio, video, code, products, services, or data you upload, publish, or sell.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country). If you register for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity. You must comply with all applicable laws.
You are responsible for your credentials, devices, and all activity under your account.
Keep your information accurate, including payout details.
Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access or security incidents.
You control your store. You are solely responsible for listings, descriptions, pricing, promotions, delivery/fulfillment, customer support, refunds, taxes, and legal compliance. Storrik provides the platform only. Except for limited card-network purposes under Managed Payments, we are not your seller or agent. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you accept the risks of running your store.
For Linked Gateways, Storrik does not charge platform fees. Standard payment processor fees apply and are charged by the processor, not by Storrik.
For Managed Payments, Storrik charges the customer and a service fee is deducted before payout (currently 5 percent).
Sellers are solely responsible for delivering products or services, including downloads, license keys, access, shipments, and support.
Storrik may transmit automated delivery messages per your configuration. We guarantee the transmission attempt when your integration is correctly configured. We do not guarantee the substance or quality of your product.
• Linked Gateways: Funds settle directly with your provider; their terms/fees apply. You handle refunds, disputes, and chargebacks with them.
• Managed Payments: Storrik processes the customer charge and pays you out. For card-network purposes Storrik may act as merchant of record on Managed orders. You authorize us to collect taxes where required by law
• Availability: Payout availability. payout timing is determined by providers and risk reviews
• Holds/Offsets: We may delay, hold, or deny payouts where we detect fraud, deception, legal/network risk, or policy breaches. We may deduct refunds, chargebacks, dispute fees, fines, and costs from current/future payouts.
• KYC/Verification: We may require identity/business verification. Failure to provide requested info can delay payouts or limit your account.
• Negative Balances: If your balance goes negative (refunds after payout, chargebacks, dispute fees, fines), you must immediately fund the shortfall. We may recover from future payouts.
• No Stored Value or Money Transmission: Storrik does not provide stored value, buyer wallets, or person-to-person money transmission, and does not hold balances for sellers or buyers outside settlement and reconciliation for Managed Payments.
• Linked Gateways: You are responsible. Storrik does not refund transactions you processed directly.
• Managed Payments (pre-payout): You can request a refund in the dashboard; we deduct before payout.
• Managed Payments (post-payout): May be processed as a recovery and place your account in negative balance until funded; not guaranteed.
• Linked Gateways: You handle disputes with your provider.
• Managed Payments: We will contest disputes when you provide adequate evidence and your product complies with our policies. A dispute fee (e.g., US$25) applies per dispute. If lost, the transaction amount, fee, and network costs may be debited from your balance or future payouts.
• Evidence: You must supply timely, accurate evidence (delivery logs, access records, license issuance, customer communications, terms acceptance, cancellation policy).
We generally do not mediate sellers customer relationships. We may intervene or enforce if we reasonably believe you committed fraud, deceived customers, violated these Terms/policies, breached sanctions, or created payment/legal risk. Remedies may include listing removal, payout holds, account restrictions/termination, and reporting to authorities where required.
You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting taxes on your sales/income (GST, VAT, sales tax, income tax).
Where required by law, we may collect/remit certain sales taxes for Managed Payments; you remain responsible for taxes we do not collect.
We don't provide tax advice.
You retain ownership of your content and confirm you have the rights to upload, display, and sell it. You grant Storrik a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, transmit, display, and perform your content as needed to operate the Services. You are responsible for IP claims arising from your content.
Submit valid notices (e.g., DMCA or similar) if you believe content infringes your rights.
We may remove or restrict access in response to valid notices. Repeat infringement can result in termination.
We integrate with providers (payments, infrastructure). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
We're not responsible for their downtime, breaches, errors, or losses.
We process what we need to operate the Services (e.g., email, username, store settings, payout identifiers). We don't sell personal data or run targeted third-party ads. We may retain logs for fraud prevention and compliance. See the Privacy Policy.
We use automated/manual systems (rate limits, device signals, IP blocks) to detect bots, abuse, and malicious activity.
Bypassing protections can result in bans, payout denial, and reports to authorities where required.
We monitor for illegal activity and financial crime to protect the platform.
• AML/CTF: We apply reasonable controls and may require KYC. Where applicable, we maintain programs consistent with Australian guidance and sanctions obligations.
• Manual Review: Managed Payment withdrawals may undergo manual review.
• Enforcement: We may deny payouts, restrict accounts, or report activity where required by law.
You must follow our Prohibited & Restricted Businesses Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
Illegal or harmful use is banned, including: fraud/scams; child sexual abuse material; non-consensual content; malware; hate/violent extremism; IP theft; prohibited financial services; sanctions breaches; bypassing DRM or anti-cheat; game cheats/spoofers/aimbots; sale of stolen accounts/keys/data, Tips, donations, exclusive content sales, pay-to-message, or fan subscription features.
For subscriptions or auto-renewals you must present clear consent, renewal cadence, price, and an easy cancellation method. Negative-option billing without clear consent is prohibited. You must send legally required notices before converting free trials.
Follow our docs, authentication rules, and rate limits. No scraping or bypassing security.
Never collect, store, or transmit raw card data on your systems. Use the Storrik/processor UI for payment collection.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance or provider issues may cause downtime.
We're not liable for lost sales or data from outages; we'll work to restore service promptly.
We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard data.
If a personal-data breach occurs, we'll notify affected users as required by law.
EEA/UK users may access, correct, download, or delete personal data per applicable law. Some data may be retained where legally required or for fraud prevention.
You can request an export of personal data.
You can request deletion where permitted by law. Deletion may disable your use of the Services.
We may log account actions (logins, requests, transactions, settings) to secure the platform and prevent fraud.
We may review activity, payout history, and API usage for policy violations or regulatory needs.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storrik disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Storrik harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your store, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms or law.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these Terms/policies or create risk. Upon termination, access to your store and payouts may be revoked. We may retain information where legally required or for fraud prevention. We may hold funds for a reasonable period to cover refunds, disputes, or penalties.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in force.
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Subject to the dispute process below, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
You agree to attempt informal resolution with us first. If unresolved within a reasonable time, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in New South Wales, Australia, in English, to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, you waive participation in class or representative actions. If a waiver is not permitted, the dispute proceeds in court in NSW.
Storrik exists to empower sellers with ownership and choice. We will keep shipping improvements with that goal in mind.
